Welcome to the 2nd Libya International Laboratories Forum and Exhibition, under the slogan “Modern Technologies in Laboratory Diagnosis”
time until the event
The forum brought together a group of senior doctors and specialists in the fields of laboratories and modern technologies in laboratory diagnosis; to review modern technologies and their use in the health sector and support health institutions. The forum also represents a unique opportunity to build bridges of cooperation between medical laboratory technicians, researchers, scientists, doctors, and university faculty members, especially in the field of laboratories, in order to increase knowledge of modern technologies in medical laboratories and blood banks. Several activities are held on the sidelines of the forum, most notably the Second Libya International Laboratories Exhibition, which covers the practical side of the forum, as medical institutions and medical equipment and pharmaceutical companies will find in the exhibition a platform to display their advanced technologies, devices and medical equipment that they are responsible for supplying to the Libyan market. It is an opportunity to network and learn about the latest technologies by medical institutions, hospitals, medical centers and laboratories.
Through the forum, we seek to shed light on the latest technologies in the field of laboratories and their use in the health sector in Libya, and to improve the quality of laboratory diagnosis, leading to the provision of high-quality medical services.
The scientific program of the forum is set to meet the needs related to laboratory diagnostics and blood banks and provide an opportunity for a group of keynote speakers to present their experiences and expertise and create fruitful discussions with decision makers, physicians, microbiologists, university professors and researchers, and review the main challenges and technical issues facing medical laboratories and blood banks with the aim of providing actual recommendations and practical solutions to overcome current challenges. The scientific program includes general speeches and keynote addresses to be delivered by experts in various fields; medical microbiology, antimicrobial resistance, blood banks, surveillance programs, laboratory accreditation, molecular diagnostics, quality, biosafety and risk management. In addition, the forum will include dialogue sessions to provide an opportunity to discuss the main challenges facing people working in medical laboratories and blood banks.
